After a six-year break, we’re absolutely delighted to be returning to the Devon County Show at Westpoint, joining the Food and Drink tent for three brilliant days from Thursday 21st May. For the Westaway team, this feels less like an event and more like coming home.
For many years, the Devon County Show was a fixed point in our calendar. Our last appearance in 2019 now feels like a lifetime ago, and we’ve missed everything that makes the show so special. The sights, the sounds, the conversations—and of course, the unmistakable buzz of the first county show of the year, set at one of the most splendid times to show off everything Devon does so well.
More Than Just Sausages (Although There Are a Lot of Them)
Yes, we’ll be selling sausages—over a mile and a half every single day,, if past shows are anything to go by. But for us, the Devon County Show has never been just about volume or sales.
It’s about meeting our customers, many of whom we only see face-to-face once a year at events like this. It’s about welcoming familiar faces we’ve chatted to for years, as well as brand-new customers discovering Westaway Sausages for the very first time. There’s nothing quite like seeing someone try one of our sausages, pause, smile, and come back for seconds.
The show is also our chance to showcase what we’ve been working on—from exciting new sausage flavours to much-loved traditional favourites that have stood the test of time. Innovation and heritage sit side by side on our stand, and we’re proud of that balance.

Our stand in the Food and Drink tent is nearly ready, and the team’s excitement is building by the day.
