Line your baking tray with a sheet of greaseproof paper & set your oven to 180°C.
Unroll your sheet of puff pastry & spread a thin layer of English mustard on, then cut into 16 even strips.
Wind each strip of pastry around each sausage & place them onto the baking tray.
Crack & whisk up your egg, carefully brushing onto your sausage rolls.
Grind some black pepper over the top of the sausage rolls as a finishing touch.
Bake in the oven for 20 minutes or until golden & crisp.
